Video: Powered By Ford Pro – Meet Beekeeper Gruffydd Rees

DUNTON, UK – Ford Pro customers come in all shapes and sizes, from large fleet operators such as DHL to solo-entrepreneurs like mobile bartender Lewis Spindlove, who we featured on @Ford back in January.

Now we bring you the first in a miniseries of videos shining a spotlight on other Ford Pro customers and their vehicles, and we start by introducing Gruffydd Rees who is founder and owner of Gwenyn Gruffydd honey company in South Wales.

Gruffydd farms more than 400 beehives that produce delicious award-winning honey which he sells throughout the UK, and he runs a Ford Ranger and a Transit Custom which have never let him down.

“I always wanted a Ford Ranger and the second I was able to be in a position to buy a Ford Ranger I went out and bought this one, and this truck has been a game changer for me,” he says.

“These trucks make the honey production of this honey farm possible. They take the empty boxes out through the fields in the spring, and they take the full boxes back to the farm, extract it through winter, while the Transit Custom is used to sell that honey and produce an income for us.”
