Jim Farley, Bring a Trailer Co-Founder Randy Nonnenberg Relive the Classics

Apr 09, 2025

Remember that road trip you took with your parents when you were a kid? Or cruising with your friends in that classic ride? Or spending time in the garage with tools, fixing your car yourself?

Ford CEO Jim Farley and Bring a Trailer co-founder Randy Nonnenberg revisit all of those memories and more on the latest episode of Farley’s weekly DRIVE podcast. Watch or listen to the full episode on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.

Nonnenberg, a classic car enthusiast who founded the popular vehicle auction website in 2007, shares his insider view of DIY car culture and how the BaT community has established itself as a trusted source for buyers and sellers of classic used cars, trucks, and SUVs. Jim, a BaT user himself, notes how important the feeling of community is to the user experience. Maintaining that community is a priority for the site, according to Nonnenberg.

“Our team is there for accountability,” he tells Farley. “That’s expensive for the business model to have, (but) it’s a required part of the equation.”

Season 3 of DRIVE is scheduled to run through May 14, with a new episode dropping every Wednesday. Click here to see the full lineup of Season 3 guests.
