Daniel Wilkerson advanced to the finals of the NHRA Lucas Oil Winternationals in Pomona, California, finishing runner-up to Jack Beckman.

Wilkerson qualified 10th, with a 3.924 ET at 324.28 mph as the top 15 all posted sub-4.0-second times. Bob Tasca III ran a 4.011 at 324.98 mph, failing to advance to the elimination rounds.
