BARCELONA, Spain – Europe’s #1 commercial vehicle brand, Ford Pro, is showcasing its electrified product portfolio to media at a special drive event hosted in Barcelona, Spain, over the next two weeks.

More than 200 journalists and content creators from 20 European markets will attend the ‘Powered by Ford Pro’ event, where they’ll get to drive the full range of electrified Ford Pro products and meet Ford Pro customers to hear first-hand how the company is helping to make their businesses thrive.

Among them are bartender, Lewis, who’s Transit is the backbone of his business. He’s joined by Amy, the brains behind the Coffee Can Company in the South of England. Her van, affectionately named Candice, was converted with the help of her dad.

Other Ford Pro customers with interesting stories to share include Eboca Coffee, a local company based in Huesca, near Zaragoza. With over 35 years in business, they have a passionate team and a fleet of 55 vehicles, 45 of which are Ford.

A top-to-toe renewal of the Ford Transit family of vans means electrified versions of every member of the company’s van lineup are now ready to support customers as they transition their fleets to benefit from the reduced cost of ownership offered by electric vehicles.

The all-new E-Transit Courier compact van is the newest electric member of the Transit family ready to get to work, with production now underway at Ford Otosan’s manufacturing facility in Craiova, Romania. Production of the new enhanced range E-Transit van has also started at Ford Otosan’s Gölcük plant in Kocaeli, Türkiye.

The Ford Transit family now delivers pure-electric driving capability in every key segment of the van market – from chassis cabs to two-tonne, one-tonne and compact vans. Fully electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains mean options are available for businesses large and small, wherever they are on their electrification journey.

Every E-Transit, E-Transit Custom, Transit Custom PHEV, E-Transit Courier and Transit Connect PHEV is ready to connect with the Ford Pro suite of connected services – including Software, Charging and Service solutions to help businesses maximise uptime and productivity.

The shift to electric vans is a step-change for businesses across Europe – but one that offers huge potential to boost productivity, maximise uptime and reduce running costs whether you’re a sole trader or operating a fleet of thousands.
