A trio of Mustangs finished in the top 10 in the NASCAR Cup Series, led by Ryan Blaney in seventh, in an overtime finish in the 67th running of the Daytona 500.

A trio of Mustangs finished in the top 10 in the NASCAR Cup Series, led by Ryan Blaney in seventh, in an overtime finish in the 67th running of the Daytona 500.

Blaney was joined in the top 10 by teammate Austin Cindric (eighth) and RFK Racing’s Chris Buecher (10th). -
Ford dominated the race, leading 143 of 201 laps with the Team Penske trio of Blaney, Cindric and Joey Logano combining to lead 125. -
Blaney was also the Stage 2 winner, while Cindric led a race-high 59 laps. -
The Cup Series continues Sunday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway. -
Sam Mayer was the top Ford Finisher in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series opener at Daytona, as he ran second and Haas Factory teammate Sheldon Creed was third. -
Harrison Burton, making his debut with AM Racing, finished sixth. -
Ryan Sieg led three times for 10 laps but got involved in a multi-car accident on the final lap and finished 19th. -
Up next for the series is a Saturday evening event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. -
Defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Ty Majeski led Ford with a third-place finish in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway. -
Chandler Smith was sixth in his Ford debut with Front Row Motorsports, Jason White finished eighth, and Frankie Muniz 10th. -
Ben Rhodes won the pole and first stage in the race, while Matt Crafton captured Stage 2. -
Smith led a race-high 34 laps, while Rhodes was next with 22. -
The series continues Saturday as the first half of a doubleheader at Atlanta Motor Speedway. -
Mārtiņš Sesks was the top Ford finisher of the quartet of M-Sport Puma Rally1s in the World Rally Championship, in sixth place overall at Rally Sweden. -
Josh McErlean had an impressive Rally1 snow debut, as fastest M-Sport driver on Thursday's opening stage, finishing eighth overall. -
Grégoire Munster delivered a clean Rally Sweden, finishing in the points, ninth overall. -
Next up, teams head to Africa for WRC Safari Rally Kenya, March 20-23.
