Ford Introduces New F-Series Security Package for $8 a Month

What's new: Ford is launching an enhanced Security Package for F-Series trucks, featuring advanced anti-theft measures that can protect vehicles from increasingly sophisticated thieves. 
 

The big picture: For $7.99 a month, enrolled F-Series truck customers will receive theft and tampering notifications, a new feature on the FordPass app that prevents their truck from being started even with a key, a 24/7 hotline with agents who work with police to recover a stolen vehicle, and reimbursement for insurance deductibles up to $2,500. 

Why it matters: With U.S. vehicle theft rates on the rise, these new security features position Ford as a leader in automotive security.

How it works:

1. Customers enroll their eligible F-Series trucks in the Ford Security Package
2. The package includes:
   • Theft and tampering notifications via the FordPass app
   • Start Inhibit feature preventing the truck from starting, even with a key
   • Access to a 24/7 hotline with agents who work with police to recover stolen vehicles
   • Insurance deductible reimbursement up to $2,500 for eligible gas and hybrid F-Series vehicles
3. The service is included for one year with the purchase of Security Package-eligible vehicles
4. After the first year, customers can continue the service for $7.99 per month
5. The package is being introduced on select 2024 and 2025 F-150 and Super Duty vehicles, with plans to expand to additional vehicles in future model years

Stolen Vehicle Services was introduced in select F-Series vehicles last year after successful introduction in 22 European countries beginning in 2021.

And if the worst happens to your vehicle, we’ll be there with insurance Deductible Reimbursement to make it right.”
