
DUNTON, UK - Ford Puma has again been crowned the UK’s best-selling car, topping the 2024 sales chart according to data released by the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders).
Puma, which was also number one in 2023, saw 48,340 vehicles registered last year.
The UK new car market recorded its second successive year of growth with 1,952,778 new cars reaching the road in 2024 – a rise of 2.6 per cent on the previous year,
For 2025, Puma’s appeal has been broadened with the introduction of the fully electric Puma Gen-E – the first Puma to deliver zero-tailpipe emission driving.
Available to order now, its new electric powertrain supercharges the Puma driving experience and delivers exceptional efficiency of 13.1 kWh/100 km. Puma Gen-E offers up to 376 km on a full charge so that long journeys are well within reach, while up to 523 km of city range means days of charge-free urban trips.
Designed and built in Europe, Puma is manufactured at Ford Otosan’s state-of-the-art Craiova Assembly Plant in Romania.
