Team Ford M-Sport enters the final week and last four stages of the Dakar Rally third (Mattias Ekström) and fifth (Mitch Guthrie, Jr.) overall in the Ultimate class.

Stage 7, the 716 km (nearly 445 miles) total Al Duwadimi stage, saw Ekström and Guthrie score second- and third-place finishes. -
Ekström took third place in Stage 5, the second half of the Marathon stage that spanned 492 km (nearly 306 miles) total from Alula to Hail. -
Dakar continues until Friday, Jan. 17, with Saudi Arabia’s infamous Empty Quarter standing in between Team Ford M-Sport and the finish line.
