Over the past weekend, Shanghai – which had just experienced torrential rainfall from Typhoon Pulasan – opened up to clear skies and crisp autumn weather. In this setting, the Ford China family gathered at Shanghai B-link to participate in a lively annual gathering.

Welcome, Thank You, Let's Have Fun Together!

Sam Wu, President and CEO Ford China addressed the entire Ford China team, expressing gratitude for every employee's diligent work and giving special thanks to all their families for their tremendous support. Afterwards, several key leaders came together to cut the cake, officially kicking off the activities of Open Day & Experience Week.

Making the World a Better Place

Beyond providing excellent products and performance, a great company also strives to make the world a better place. Ford believes this, and also proactively puts this belief into action.

The Shanghai Blue Sky Rescue Team also brought their Ford-donated Ranger to Open Day, sharing first-aid knowledge and skills with everyone to enhance their emergency response capabilities.

Every September is Global Caring Month at Ford, during which numerous philanthropic projects are launched worldwide. In China, we are actively involved in projects that support orphaned and disabled children, protecting the environment, caring for stray cats and dogs, and promoting STEM and arts education.

At the Ford Volunteer Mini-Classroom, volunteers introduced family members to the company’s charitable projects, spreading the love and warmth of Ford’s CSR initiatives.

The event also featured a heartfelt charity sale to raise contributions for those in need.

Making the Experience Even Greater!

Employee Experience Week, organized through a collaborative effort by HR, Fordland, IT, the labor union, and the Volunteer Association, also kicked off this Monday. Important company values such as Ford OS Behaviors, digital technology, and sports fitness were showcased to employees through interactive activities that also involved fun competitions and prizes.
