With four months remaining before the Ford Raptor T1+ debuts at the Dakar Rally, episode two of “Journey to Dakar,” a video series created by Ford Performance, follows the team through two weeks of intense practice for the grueling desert rally race, as well as behind-the-scenes development of the ultimate Raptor which will take the field in January.
As the team pushes the custom-built race truck to its limits in demanding environments, episode two introduces Raptor T1+ driver Carlos Sainz, a four-time Dakar champion who gets behind the wheel of the new truck for the first time.
