Bangkok, Thailand, 19 August 2024 – Ford Thailand, in partnership with Feeliq Innovation Motorsport, won two trophies by finishing 4th in the T2A (Production Asia) class and 8th overall at the Asia Cross Country Rally 2024, held from August 12-17.
Ford entered two Ranger Raptors, numbers 131 and 118, into the challenging competition. Through the tough on-and off-road conditions, Ranger Raptor #131, driven by Wuttichai Sorndaeng and navigated by Charin Harnsungnoen, climbed from 23rd place overall in SS1 to finish 4th in the T2A class and 8th overall. This performance earned them both the 4th place class trophy and a trophy for finishing in the top 12 overall.
Compared to the race in 2023, Ranger Raptor #118, piloted by Michael Freeman and navigated by Chaiya Chommalee, encountered more road trials and challenges but managed to complete the grueling terrains, finishing 6th in class and 35th overall.
Ford Thailand's participation in Asia Cross Country Rally 2024, recognized by Ford Performance team, aimed at demonstrating Ford Ranger Raptor's capability to handle the rigors of Asian-level competition, showcasing the vehicle's performance from the factory.
