George Miedecke and Rylan Gray took the win in the GT World Challenge Australia in Queensland with the Miedecke Motorsports Mustang GT4.

The duo have amassed four victories in the series’ first six rounds of the season with an event finale win of Queensland, which held its first-ever GT4 Australia endurance race weekend. -
Miedecke Motorsport was in contention for a win in the event opener, however race contact set the team back to a podium finish in third place. -
Miedecke and Gray hold an eight-point advantage in the Silver Cup Championship. -
Rounds seven and eight are scheduled for Aug. 23-25 at the GT Festival. -
Sam Paley of Southern Paley Motorsports drove his Mustang Dark Horse R to a weekend sweep of the Dark Horse class, winning both races hosted at Road America in Wisconsin the IMSA Mustang Challenge. -
He completed a pass for the lead in the first corner of the opener, and led flag-to-flag in the finale. -
Zachry Lee won both Legends races from the pole position to extend his winning streak to five. -
Robert Noaker Racing’s Jeremy Fletcher, who was awarded the pole in the Dark Horse class, was assessed a 10-second post-race penalty and surrendered pole position to Paley in the finale. -
The event opener was decided under caution with less than three minutes to go after a single-car incident in the sixth turn. -
Robert Noaker Racing’s Tyler Maxson, who recorded a podium finish in each race, remains the points leader in the Dark Horse class, while Zachry Lee extends his lead in Legends. -
The next stop for Mustang Challenge is Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at Circuit of The Americas in Texas. -
Adrien Fourmaux and co-driver Alex Coria earned their fourth podium of the FIA World Rally Championship season in a Puma Rally1 Hybrid in Finland. -
Fourmaux took home 18 points and remains fifth, the highest Ford vehicle in the championship standings. -
Gregorie Munster had a fantastic Sunday, gaining seven positions across the four stages. -
Next up on the WRC schedule is the EKO Acropolis Rally Greece, Sept. 5-8. -
The No. 65 of Joey Hand and Dirk Müller finished eighth in the GTD Pro class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Road America. -
Giammarco Levorato and Corey Lewis, in the No. 55 Proton Competition Mustang GT3, placed eighth in the GTD class. -
Müller ascended up the class order to as high as second in the opening stint; however, contact during Hand's stint caused body damage which required pit-side repairs. -
On the opening lap of the race, Mike Rockenfeller was involved in a turn-five incident with a competitor which forced the No. 64 to pit and, one lap later, returned to the garages for right-front suspension repairs. The team was assessed a drive-through penalty for the incident, returning eight laps down. -
The No. 64 recovered one lap, finishing 10th. -
The next series stop is VIRginia International Raceway, Aug. 23-25. -
Mustang GT4 scored two top-five finishes at Road America, led by KohR Motorsports (fourth) and McCumbee McAleer Racing (fifth) in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. -
Luca Mars received the KohR Motorsports’ Mustang in 14th and made a push into sixth ahead of the final restart. -
Mars was able to improve two positions from the restart, giving KohR its best GS finish of the season. -
Stand-in driver for the No. 13 MMR machine, Gavin Sanders, qualified a Ford-best fourth in class, maintaining position until a spin by Jenson Altzman in the first laps of his stint. -
Altzman recovered to fifth to record the team’s second GS top-five performance of the season. -
The next race is the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand Prix, Aug. 23-24, at VIRginia International Raceway. -
Donny Schatz finished second on the podium Saturday night in the World of Outlaws series at the Ironman 55 in Missouri. -
He also started the Toyota Dash on the front, ultimately finishing second. -
The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars head to Knoxville Raceway in Iowa beginning Wednesday for the Knoxville Nationals.
