The freedom to move and customize the vehicle to make it your own is an important part of the ownership experience. Now, with software, we are able to offer 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT owners the freedom to choose if they want to customize their vehicle with the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade. While this can be selected at vehicle purchase, owners ALSO have the option to purchase the one-time upgrade and enable it seamlessly via the FordPass app – from anywhere.
The Performance Upgrade enables the vehicle to go 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds – faster than both the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. The Performance Upgrade combines innovative powertrain thermal modeling and control algorithms, and our new in-house e-Motor helps to deliver the improved torque – an additional 100 lb. ft. compared to vehicles without the Performance Upgrade. It also runs a quarter mile in 11.8 seconds at 114 MPH.
And, it doesn’t stop here. We are continuing to think about how we can make it even easier to access features and continue to make the ownership experience better over time.
The Performance Upgrade combines innovative powertrain thermal modeling and control algorithms to sustain power longer, and our new in-house eMotor helps to deliver improved torque – an additional 100 lb. ft. of torque compared to vehicles without the Performance Upgrade. Combined these actions deliver more performance both off the line and down the road that our customers asked for. The Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade delivers:

2024 Mustang Mach-E GT vehicles will ship with the hardware and software to activate the Performance Upgrade seamlessly from anywhere, similar to how customers can activate BlueCruise for hands-free highway driving. Once the customer has purchased the Performance Upgrade via FordPass or their Ford Account page the feature will be instantly installed.
