One year after Ford announced Mustang’s return to the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans, Proton Competition, a customer-driven Mustang GT3 program which races in various series around the globe, has announced the driver lineup and livery for the third Mustang GT3 entry in next month’s race. Ben Tuck and John Hartshorne join factory driver Christopher Mies to make up the latest team. Proton Competition runs a two-car lineup during the regular FIA World Endurance Championship season. Having a three-car lineup at next month’s 92nd running of the iconic endurance event underscores Ford’s commitment to returning to the world’s most marquee race events and comes amid the pony car’s 60th anniversary. The 24 Hours of Le Mans begins June 15.
