OSLO, Norway – It seems Ford Explorer has a new admirer after this Fox stopped to check-out the all-electric vehicle during a photoshoot in Norway.
The bushy-tailed canine was crossing the road when it paused to take a closer look at the car which is finished in Ford’s brilliant “blue my mind” colour.
Photographer Tom Egil Jensen captured the moment while shooting Explorer at the Norefjell ski resort 100 km outside of Oslo. Check out the gallery to see more dramatic shots of the vehicle.
After just over a month on sale, the new electric Ford Explorer is in hot demand in Norway. “This is an electric car that has everything it takes to become a big seller,” says Ford Motor Norway's CEO, Per Gunnar Berg.
“With the new Ford Explorer you get a complete package that is perfect for many Norwegians. With a long electric range, a great look, fast charging and the latest in modern driver assistance technologies, all at a great price delivered by a large and established dealer network, this is a model we believe will be among the best sellers for a long time.”
Did you know?
It is estimated there are around 200,000 Red Foxes in Norway which means they significantly outnumber the much rarer Arctic Fox, of which there are less than 500 in the country.
Unlike other canines, Foxes are solitary animals that tend to live by themselves or in small family groups called a “skulk”, which typically includes the mother (vixen) and around six cubs.
