Ryan Blaney passed Chase Elliott with 14 laps to go and won Sunday’s elimination race at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia to advance to the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4.

Blaney joins Penske teammate Joey Logano in the final group and a chance to win Ford’s third straight title. -
The win was Blaney’s third of the season and Team Penske’s 100th with Ford. -
Austin Cindric was fourth, Brad Keselowski ninth and Logano 10th. -
The championship race is Sunday at 3 p.m. EST at Phoenix Raceway on NBC and the NBC Sports App. -
Cole Custer advanced to the Championship 4 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series after a fourth-place finish on Saturday at Martinsville Speedway. -
Custer, who won the championship a year ago, will have an opportunity to become the ninth driver in series history to win multiple titles. -
He led 17 laps and finished in the top 10 of all three stages. -

Ty Majeski advanced to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship 4 after an 11th-place run Friday night at Martinsville Speedway. -
Ben Rhodes finished second, and Layne Riggs finished sixth, leading Ford. -
Rhodes led 12 laps and was in front with three laps to go when he got shoved up the track by eventual race winner, Christian Eckes. -
The Truck Series championship race will take place Friday at 8 p.m. EST at Phoenix Raceway on FS1. -
The No. 77 Proton Mustang GT3 (Ben Barker, Ryan Hardwick, Zacharie Robichon) started 16th in LMGT3 in the FIA World Endurance Championship in Bahrain, completing 178 of 214 laps. -
The No. 88 Proton Mustang GT3 (Dennis Olsen, Giorgio Roda, Giammarco Levorato) started 15th, completing 148 laps. -
Both entries retired early due to mechanical issues. -
Team Championship: No. 88 ranked 13th; No. 77 ranked 17th in LMGT3. -
Drivers’ Championship: No. 88 finished 15th; No. 77 finished 22nd in LMGT3. -
Bob Tasca III qualified fifth in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series in Las Vegas with a 3.857 at 325.37 mph and made it to the second round on race day. -
Daniel Wilkerson qualified 11th with 3.924 at 326.4 mph and made it to the second round. -
