COLOGNE, Germany - Today marks the premiere of Charge Around The Globe — a must-see docu-series that follows Lexie Alford (@LexieLimitless) on her epic adventure as she becomes the first person to circumnavigate the globe in an electric vehicle.

Over a century ago pioneering explorer Aloha Wanderwell set off from Nice at the age of 16 to become the first woman to drive around the world in a Ford Model T. Now, in 2024, we get to see Lexie, the youngest person to visit every country in the world, reinventing that historic journey in the all-electric Ford Explorer

In Charge Around the Globe, viewers join her world record attempt, starting in Episode 1 from Nice, France, trying to get to Mombasa, Kenya, where she navigates both the highs and challenges, including the complexities of electric vehicle infrastructure. Episodes 2 and 3 take her through Australia, Asia, the Americas, and Europe, where she encounters inspiring trailblazers and overcomes new obstacles, all while racing to secure her world record.

“Whilst I’ve proved that it is possible to travel around the globe on electric power alone, it certainly wasn’t easy and it showed just how different the charging infrastructure is on different continents,” Lexie says. “I’m so happy to share the adventure, and hope that this helps us to understand how we need to improve to truly enable zero emission driving.
