Ford Performance returns to the 2024 Rebelle Rally with a five-truck lineup, as it continues its partnership with the all-women's off-road competition as a second-year Silver Sponsor. The team is looking to build on a successful 2023 effort, which included a historic fourth consecutive X-CROSS win. Ford brings back a powerhouse team featuring vehicles from the Bronco family and the debut of the Ford Ranger Raptor, ready to compete in one of the most unique and challenging rallies in the world.

The Rebelle Rally is no ordinary off-road race. Spanning over 1,500 miles of unforgiving Nevada and California desert terrain, it is the longest all-women’s off-road navigation rally in the U.S. Competitors must navigate using only maps and compasses, pushing both their skills and the durability of their vehicles to the limit. Entries are largely stock models—vehicles you can find at a dealership—proving their capability in extreme real-world conditions.

“The Rebelle Rally embodies the spirit of exploration, endurance, and empowerment,” said Mark Rushbrook, global director, Ford Performance Motorsports. “Beyond that, these are the same off-road vehicles that people can buy, and they’re taking on some of the toughest challenges in the world, where the drivers and navigators rely on them to finish without the help of cell phones or GPS. This rally is a true test of our stock vehicles’ durability and capability, and we’re excited to be back with a talented team and five trucks that embody Ford’s off-road heritage.”

Meet the 2024 Ford Performance Team:

  • Bailey Campbell and Sedona Blinson – Ford Ranger Raptor: The Ford Ranger Raptor is coming off the back of victory in the Baja 1,000 and back-to-back victories in the Finke off-road race in Australia. At Rebelle, the Ranger Raptor will be driven by Bailey Campbell with navigator Sedona Blinson. Known for its high-performance off-road prowess, the Ranger Raptor’s debut in the Rebelle Rally is a milestone moment.

  • Melissa Clark and Kathryn Reinhardt – Bronco Sport Sasquatch Package: Returning after her third consecutive X-CROSS Class win in 2023, Melissa Clark is back in the Bronco Sport (which itself has won a a total of 4 times), now equipped with the newly-released Sasquatch package. This enhanced version offers increased ground clearance, larger tires, and advanced off-road features, proving the Sport is as rally-ready as it is adventure-capable. She’ll partner with navigator Kathryn Reinhardt.

  • Shelby Hall and Rori Lewis – Ford Bronco Raptor: Off-road veteran Shelby Hall teams up again with five-time Rebelle participant Rori Lewis to tackle the desert in the Bronco Raptor. Built for high-performance handling in extreme conditions, the Bronco Raptor continues to be a fan favorite and competitive force after its Stock Mid-Size class victory at Vegas to Reno.

  • Laura Wanlass and Penny Dale – Ford Bronco Raptor: After three consecutive years of podium finishes and six Rebelles under her belt, Laura Wanlass also returns in the Bronco Raptor, aiming to continue and build upon her previous success alongside navigator Penny Dale. The Raptor’s unmatched off-road capability has been a crucial part of the team’s success.

  • Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith – Ford Bronco Wildtrak: The 2022 Rebelle Rally Rookies of the Year, Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith, return in the Ford Bronco Wildtrak. With a perfect blend of power and off-road precision, the Wildtrak showcases how Ford’s production vehicles can conquer even the most challenging routes straight off the line.

Ford’s Participation in Rebelle Rally

Ford Performance’s participation in the Rebelle Rally reflects its support of women in motorsports and its determination to showcase the durability of stock vehicles in grueling endurance events. Ford’s strong performance in 2023 demonstrated that Ford’s vehicles are built to perform under extreme conditions, fresh from the factory.

The 2024 Rebelle Rally kicks off from October 10, and Ford’s five-truck team is ready to conquer the desert, demonstrating that when it comes to off-road performance, Ford continues to lead the pack.
