Double Your Impact: Ford Philanthropy is launching a matching donation challenge! For every dollar you donate to Team Rubicon, the American Red Cross, or Feeding America, Ford Philanthropy will match it, up to $100,000 per organization. That's a potential $600,000 boost to relief efforts!

At this time, we are hearing from partners on the ground that monetary donations to trusted nonprofits are best. While well intended, due to the lack of infrastructure physical donations such as clothes and water are ending up clogging the supply chain and making it difficult for emergency personnel.

Team Rubicon is working with local community leaders to determine how Ford volunteers can support the immediate and long-term needs of the impacted communities.

Ford has extended the company-Volunteer Paid Time Off policy from 16 hours to 56 hours (an additional 40 hours) to allow for more flexibility for employees to deploy with Team Rubicon and other select longer-term opportunities. Employees can learn more about this policy here.

Step 2: Join Deed - Ford's new volunteer platform - Deed | Ford Philanthropy​

Step 3: Complete and sign the required Ford Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability and the Ford Volunteer Medical Review Packet.

Team Rubicon Powered by Ford is a multi-year partnership that includes a donated fleet of Ford vehicles, $2.5M philanthropic investment and Ford employee volunteer program.

This partnership builds on decades of commitment by investing in communities around the world after disasters strike.

Additional Ford and Ford Philanthropy Support:

• Ford Philanthropy also provided grants to Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, United Way of Citrus County Florida, United Way of East Tennessee Highlands, and Habitat for Humanity International to help address immediate local needs in severely impacted areas.

• Our dealers are identifying loaner vehicles to provide to our partners in the field. They are also supporting fundraising efforts for key Ford Philanthropy partners.
  • Dublin Ford gave away 1200 BBQ meals to support feed their community since most are still without water and power this week. 
• Employees at manufacturing locations are mobilizing donation collections.
  • Ford Lima Engine Plant is currently working with our Local 1219 to begin organizing collections of donations for victims of Helene.
• Our F-150 hybrid trucks with Pro Power on Board and Ford Lightnings are being used to get power to where they need it.
