BUDAPEST, Hungary – When authorities in Hungary issued a plea for volunteers to help shore-up flood defences following heavy rainfall, Ford colleagues didn’t disappoint.

More than 80 people from Ford Business Solutions, Ford of Hungary, and the European Direct Markets teams stepped up to the plate, working flat out for four days at six locations near Budapest and Szentendre.

Their efforts helped to make a significant contribution to flood defence works. While the water is now receding and cleanup efforts are ongoing, the flood threat is now over.
