On Oct. 23, the China Association for Quality officially unveiled the results of this year's China Automotive Customer Satisfaction Index (CACSI) in Beijing. The Ford Mondeo, with its excellent quality performance, clinched the top honor in the category "Mid-sized Sedan, User Satisfaction for Vehicles 200,000 RMB and Below".
According to the China Association for Quality, the CACSI applies a globally standardized evaluation model, which acts as an insightful guide for both consumers in selecting a vehicle for purchase as well as manufacturers aiming to improve their product quality.
In 2024, the CACSI evaluation encompassed 160 major brand models, representing 36 automotive manufacturers and 44 car brands across China. The survey covered 90 major cities within five key regional markets: East, South, West, North, and Central China. The evaluation was conducted through face-to-face interviews and online surveys, and its index system was centered around five comprehensive aspects: overall satisfaction, quality reliability, performance design, after-sales service, and sales service.
