The all-new Ford Equator Sport boasts a muscular and imposing silhouette with sculpted lines that balance rugged appeal with everyday elegance. The front fascia has been redesigned with a more angular hood, amplifying its geometric appearance and elevating the hood profile. In tandem with the more muscular front fenders, the design yields a more robust look. The obsidian front grille features a striking through-going design that visually emphasizes the Equator Sport’s width. Coupled with the trapezoidal bumper, which provides a sense of protection, the front end conveys an assertive and unyielding appeal. The iconic L-shaped ice-crystal headlights, a signature element of the Ford Beyond family, feature simple yet distinctive lines that create a rich layered effect. Paired with the latest 15mm ultra-compact LED lens module, which integrates high and low beams, the headlights illuminate the road with confidence and style.

The piano-black two-tone roof contributes a touch of casual sophistication to the Equator Sport’s exterior.The 20-inch wheels, featuring geometric blocks that extend longitudinally, create a dynamic vortex effect. The dynamic and sporty look is well-suited for both urban and outdoor pursuits. The L-shaped starry taillights and the transverse piano black trim at the lower bumper mirror the front end design, reinforcing the Equator Sport’s muscular and squared-off appearance.

The Ford Equator Sport is available in seven colors, including two fresh outdoor inspired tones: Oasis Green and Cactus Grey. Oasis Green, is an all new exclusively designed color for the new Ford Equator Sport. Inspired by the lush vegetation and a spirited escape into the wilderness, the paint color sports a vibrant tonal metallic green color with enhanced contrasting pearlescent pigments. This creates a rich and sophisticated appeal that provides perfect balance of luxury and youthfulness to the car. Cactus Grey, reminiscent of sun-bleached desert terrain, accentuates the Equator Sport’s rugged and durable character. This classic shade from the Ford Beyond family is now introduced on the Equator Sport for the first time. 

Ultra-Wide, Resort-Like Interior Highlights Relaxation

“Width” was a pivotal design focus throughout the design of the all-new Ford Equator Sport, from its exterior to its interior. The Ford China Design Center team aimed to create a soothing, resort-like atmosphere within this SUV by using horizontal lines throughout the cabin to create a more spacious feeling. The inviting interior design ensures a relaxing and enjoyable journey for all passengers starting from the moment they settle in.

The CMF designers carefully chose a Domino Black & Manuka Tan dual-color scheme for the new Equator Sport. The contrast between these two hues creates a modern and sophisticated atmosphere, reminiscent of a hand-brewed aromatic coffee. This welcoming interior encourages occupants to unwind and stretch both physically and mentally. The brown shade, named “Manuka” after Manuka honey, symbolizes naturalness and health. This combination was deliberately chosen to impart a sense of wellness to those within the vehicle. 

The flat floor design further enhances spacious comfort for everyone on board. The contrasting stitching, that extends from the instrument panel to door panels for a sense of unity, completes the enveloping ambiance within the cabin. While the use of contemporary woodgrain trim and satin aluminum accents adds a touch of  refined detailing. The redesigned headrests, embodying American luxury with their square and rigid form, offer a plush and supportive experience. The generous padding and soft design provide a welcoming embrace, evocative of lounging on a large American sofa. The contrasting double stitching adds a touch of exquisite craftsmanship, further emphasizing the luxurious and grand feel of the interior.
