DUNTON, UK – As part of Global Caring Month, Ford African Ancestry Network recently welcomed 30 students to Dunton Campus to gain valuable networking, presenting and interviewing skills.
The two-day event, organised in conjunction with London-based charity Urban Synergy, saw around 30 students aged 16-18 learn about careers in Ford, meet a range of colleagues through speed networking, participate in activities in the hub, learn presentation skills and engage in mock interviews.
Dunton’s Shaun McLean explains: “Urban Synergy is an award-winning youth empowerment charity that has helped over 27,000 young people reach their full potential by connecting them with aspirational, relatable role models, mentors, and industry leading companies.
“We were delighted to work with Urban Synergy to offer students first-hand exposure to the automotive industry, and the event was a huge success. A big thanks to everyone who helped to make the experience so rewarding for all involved.”
