Ford Extends Red Bull Ford Academy Partnership, Welcomes Chloe Chambers to 2025 F1 Academy Team

Ford is extending its title partnership with the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme for the 2025 season and welcoming American driver Chloe Chambers to the 2025 F1 Academy team.

The Red Bull Ford Academy Programme is an all-female driver development series designed to help young female drivers prepare for higher levels of motorsport. Chambers, who previously raced in single seaters in USA F4 and W Series, is currently driving in F1 Academy with Haas and Campos Racing. 

This weekend, Chambers will be driving in the final round of IMSA Mustang Challenge 2024 at the SRO Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS. The Mustang Challenge sees drivers up to FIA silver ratings compete on a level playing field against other Mustang Dark Horse R cars.

“It’s so great to welcome Chloe to the Ford family as she joins the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme,” said Mark Rushbrook, Global Director, Ford Performance Motorsport. “Chloe is not only a real racing talent, but she also has the ability to race in different series and to see her lining up in the Mustang Challenge in our Dark Horse R is really cool.” 

For her part, Chambers is thrilled.

It is a privilege to be partnering with the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme to continue improving female representation in the sport, and I am grateful for the support to achieve my own career goals in motorsport,” she said. “I am excited to take part in the Ford Mustang Challenge this week and to have more opportunities to race outside of my role in F1 Academy.” 

Christian Horner, CEO and Team Principal, Oracle Red Bull Racing said welcoming Chambers to the program marks an exciting progression in Red Bull’s partnership with Ford Performance.
