DUNTON, UK – Ford Transit Custom – the UK’s best-selling van – has just been crowned Van of the Year in The Sun Motor Awards 2024.
The publication reports: “The mega-selling Transit Custom is next-level good. Much improved cabin and cargo area and the bread-and-butter 2-litre diesel — made in Dagenham — now comes with intelligent AWD. So, you can now go to more places with it.”
Ford Pro Commercial Vehicles Director Mandy Dean collected the award at a ceremony in London this week.
She said: “I’m super proud to accept this award on behalf of the entire Ford Pro team who worked so hard to deliver the all-new Transit Custom. This is for them, and it’s going straight to Dunton where it will be put on display for everyone to see.”
This latest award adds to an impressive collection for the new Transit Custom which is the current International Van of the Year (IVOTY).
