Ford’s Bestselling Kuga Just Got Even Better

COLOGNE, Germany – Ford today revealed a reinvented Kuga which now offers upgraded hybrid powertrains, increased towing capability, seamless connectivity, and latest-generation driver assistance technologies.

On sale this month, the new Kuga range delivers up to 69 km of pure electric driving for Kuga PHEV customers, while the full hybrid Kuga Hybrid offers up to 900 km of driving range on a single tank of fuel.

Both Kuga Plug-In Hybrid and Kuga Hybrid AWD also deliver significantly improved acceleration and now offer up to 2,100 kg of towing ability which beats all rivals.

“The Ford Kuga has been a hit with customers since it was first launched in 2008. The new Kuga is our best ever, moving the game forward with new levels of capability, connectivity and comfort,” said Jon Williams, general manager, Ford Blue, Europe.

Kuga was Europe’s bestselling PHEV in 2021, 2022, and is on track for 2023 according to the latest available data.

New Kuga has evolved both inside and out, with a fresh, confident and bold design. The smart Titanium, sporty ST-Line and rugged Active models have unique design features and distinctive personalities. Inside, new Kuga features Ford’s latest-generation SYNC 4 infotainment offering twice the computing power of the previous system.

Advanced driver assistance technologies now include Ford’s latest generation Adaptive Cruise Control that can now apply the brakes automatically for curves and junctions as well as other traffic.

Also new is advanced lighting technology including available Dynamic Pixel LED headlights that use navigation data and windscreen-mounted camera to read road signs, altering the light pattern at curves, junctions and roundabouts to better illuminate pedestrians and cyclists.
