Chris Buescher gave Ford its ninth consecutive NASCAR Cup Series win at Michigan International Speedway Monday.

The win was the second straight for Buescher and marks the second straight year a Ford driver has won Richmond and Michigan back-to-back after Kevin Harvick did it last season. -
Buescher led a race-high 52 of the 200 laps in the FireKeepers Casino 400 en route to the win. -
His RFK Racing teammate Brad Keselowski finished fourth with Kevin Harvick (eighth) and Ryan Blaney (ninth) rounding out the top-10 Fords. -
Buescher, Blaney and Joey Logano have all clinched playoff spots. -
Harvick (fifth) and Keselowski (eighth) are currently in playoff positions, while Michael McDowell is just one point outside of the top 16 with three races remaining in the regular season. -
The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course Sunday. -
Riley Herbst (sixth) was the top Ford finisher in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, his 10th top-10 performance of the season. -
Ryan Sieg finished 13th and Cole Custer 16th. -
Custer has clinched a playoff spot with Herbst 40 points above the playoff cut line with five races remaining in the regular season. -
The NASCAR Xfinity Series continues with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course Saturday. -
Donny Schatz picked up a pair of top-10 finishes in the World of Outlaws series at I-55 Raceway’s Ironman weekend. -
He finished third in his heat each night to make it to the features. -
Next up, the series prepares for the Knoxville Nationals beginning Wednesday. -
After Ott Tänak’s win in SS1, Pierre-Louis Loubet powered through a tough weekend and showed impressive speed in the FIA World Rally Championship Rally Finland’s third and fourth days. -
Tänak and Loubet both were forced to retire from mechanical damage on Friday, with Loubet restarting on Saturday to finish the event strong. -
Adrien Fourmaux was third in the WRC2 category and placed an impressive 10th overall. -
Tänak remains fourth in the standings, with Loubet 10th. -
The next round on the WRC calendar is the Acropolis Rally Greece Sept. 7-10. -
The Mustang GT4s from KohR Motorsports and McCumbee McAleer Racing finished second and third thanks to brilliant fuel management and strategy. -
MMR restarted at the tail of the GS field early in the race, working their way up through over 20 competitors. -
The next race on the schedule is the Michelin GT Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway Aug. 26.
