Chris Buescher picked up his third win in Saturday’s night’s NASCAR Cup Series regular-season finale at Daytona, as Ford claimed victory for the fourth time in five races.

RFK teammate Brad Keselowski finished second as he pushed Buescher to victory, with Aric Almirola completing Ford’s sweep of the top three spots. -
Chase Briscoe won the pole and led a race-high 67 laps. -
Keselowski won Stage 2 and led six laps. Ford led the most laps with 110 out of 163. -
Ford will have a manufacturer-best six drivers compete for the 2023 series championship. -
Buescher, Keselowski, defending champion Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney and Michael McDowell are part of the 16-driver playoffs. -
The NASCAR Cup Series will begin its postseason Sunday with the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. -
Cole Custer navigated double overtime to lead Ford in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a fifth-place finish at Daytona. -
Riley Herbst suffered a mechanical issue that was fixed early in the race, but he lost multiple laps and finished 24th. -
He has dropped narrowly below the playoff cutline with two races remaining in the regular season. -
Custer has clinched a spot in the playoffs and is fourth in the point standings. -
The NASCAR Xfinity Series continues at Darlington Raceway Saturday. -
Matt Crafton started 22nd and drove all the way up the field to a fifth-place finish to lead Ford in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in Milwaukee. -
Ty Majeski was seventh after having to start the race at the rear of the field. -
Majeski has clinched a spot in the Round of 8, while Zane Smith (+29) and Crafton (+9) are currently in transfer positions. -
Ben Rhodes is just three points out of the eighth and final spot with one race to go in the Round of 10. -
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will conclude its first round of the playoffs Sept. 8 at Kansas Speedway. -
Donny Schatz started on the pole and finished third in the World of Outlaws on Friday night. -
Saturday night also saw him pick up his 31st top-10 finish of the season. -
Next up, the series heads to Washington for the Skagit Nationals starting Thursday. -
Joey Hand and Jenson Altzman started fourth, led two laps and finished third on the podium in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway. -
Luca Mars and Bob Michaelian started 17th and fought their way up to a fifth-place finish. -
The next race on the schedule is the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sept. 15-17.
