Imagine an engine so novel, powerful, and groundbreaking that it has been celebrated musically dozens of times – well the famed Ford Flathead V8 inspired quite a number of songs as artists like Bruce Springsteen and the Beach Boys celebrated the Deuce Coupe and the V8. Those are just among a few of the 120 songs curated by the Ford Archives on Spotify to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the incorporation of the Ford Motor Company. Some of the earliest songs were recorded on Edison Disc and celebrate the famed Model T while other show Ford has country roots and demonstrate why the F-Series remains America’s best-selling pickup. The music covers all the genres and products and some of the artists may surprise you.
