COLOGNE, Germany - Each year, the Ford Volunteer Corps rallies employees to design their own volunteer projects as part of the annual Global Caring Month community support initiative.
The Ford Fund is still accepting applications for projects during Global Caring Month this September, but they must be submitted by May 12.
Debbie Chennells, Ford Fund Manager, Europe, said: “There’s still time for colleagues to nominate a non-profit organization to receive a grant of up to $10,000 to buy supplies for an in-person volunteer project that will take place during the month of September.”
She added: “All applications received will be reviewed by the Ford Fund team and selected projects will be referred to GlobalGiving, Ford Fund’s international grant-making partner. Final decisions on projects to be supported are expected by the end of July and grants will be awarded in August.”
