MADRID, Spain - Ford Pro is partnering with Madrid City Council, the New Rastro Madrid Merchants Association and the Cebada Market to help promote emissions-free mobility in the city.
Ford Pro is providing an E-Transit to the New Madrid Rastro Merchants Association and Cebada Market, so that traders joining these organisations can experience first-hand the benefits Ford’s all-electric van offers.
The year-long loan is part of a project called Rastro ElectriCity by Ford. The Rastro is one of the most historic and iconic market neighborhoods in Spain, and dates back to the 15th Century.
Ford Spain President Jesus Alonso said: “Aware of the challenge that electrification poses for companies and organisations, we want to help businesses and institutions make the transition, whatever their size. We are very proud to be able to do so hand in hand with such emblematic organizations within Madrid as its City Council, the New Rastro Madrid Merchants Association and the Cebada Market.”
