Ford Mustang drivers scored half of the top-10 finishes in NASCAR Cup action Saturday night.

Team Penske's Brad Keselowski (fourth) led Ford in the second of three races in the Round of 16.

He sat on the pole for the race and led 89 laps in a strong run in Richmond, Virginia.

Roush Fenway's Ryan Newman kept his playoff hopes alive with a solid fifth-place run.

Stewart-Haas Racing's Kevin Harvick was seventh.

His teammates Clint Bowyer (eighth) and Daniel Suarez (#41, ninth) were right behind.

Harvick is second in the playoff standings and has clinched a spot in the Round of 12.

Keselowski (+55) and Logano (+50) have a significant cushion, and have all but clinched their spot.

Newman (+14), Ryan Blaney (+8) and Aric Almirola (+3) are ninth, 10th and 11th, respectively.

Bowyer (-4) is 14th, with one race to go – this weekend on Charlotte's Roval road course.

Team Penske's Austin Cindric sat on the pole and finished second in NASCAR Xfinity playoff action.

Stewart-Haas’ Cole Custer (third) and Chase Briscoe (fifth) also finished in the top five Friday.

Custer is second, Cindric fourth and Briscoe seventh with two races remaining in the opening round.

The cutoff will trim the field from 12 to eight.
