Drive 55 Pantera JDRF Event
Over 21 Ford Pantera’s rolled into Romeo over the weekend shuddering the ground of the Hyatt hotel and the Romeo Engine Plant. Most of the Pantera’s travelled quite a distance to participate. The furthest north American vehicle came from Dallas Texas with the furthest period was the original Carol Shelby Pantera, arriving from Holland, NL. On day 1 the cars followed a Ford GT along M59 to the Romeo Engine Plant where the group enjoyed a tour of the facility and the hand built 5.2 Shelby Engine process while all of our employees were able to enjoy the unique vehicles, speak to the owners and have a bbq hotdog. Later that night Gary Johnson, EVP joined the group for dinner and presented facts about how 3D printing can help the classic car industry. He also presented a video on the rebuilding of the Chicago Assembly plant.
