In pictures: The All-New Lincoln Continental’s Luxury Launch
On November 28, the all-new Lincoln Continental made its posh debut at the Shanghai Expo Center. Since its entry in 2014, Lincoln has been warmly embraced in China and has become the country’s fastest-growing luxury brand. In the third quarter of 2016, Lincoln sold 8,546 vehicles, with 20,996 vehicles sold year-to-date, a 191-percent increase over the same period last year. For the all-new Continental, Lincoln designers incorporated Chinese design philosophies of harmony and tranquility throughout the interior and exterior. The fifth vehicle in Lincoln’s China lineup, the Continental is also the newest entry into the full-size luxury sedan market in China, which is expected to grow by more than 60 percent by 2025.
